Inspection bodies of the National Food Authority have conducted to date 220 inspections and monitoring as part of the antiCovid Task Force.
Every monitoring by the Task Force continues to require the implementation of safety protocols and the necessary measures against the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
During the inspections, 1 administrative measure was imposed on a food business operator for non-fulfillment of the tasks left by the previous inspection.
Referring to the Sampling Plan, 47 samples were taken, mainly in milk monitoring and fruits and vegetables.
The National Food Authority continues to work tirelessly in the field to ensure food safety and protect the health of the consumer.
