Microsoft unveils $ 1.5 billion 5-year plan in Italy

The giant "Microsoft" has launched a 5-year investment plan of 1.5 billion dollars in Italy to support innovation and local growth, also bringing the first regional data center on the peninsula.

The project is called "Ambizione Italia #DigitalRestart" and aims to access local services and expand the partnership with the Italian Post, start new projects, digital development and artificial intelligence.

"Italy reaffirms itself as a center in favor of attracting investment, innovation and development," commented Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte.

"Microsoft's investments in Italy cover a history of over 35 years with over 10,000 partners and 350,000 professionals involved," the US group said.
