Businesses in Albania are growing and expanding year after year, becoming an important factor in the development of the country. Kastrati Group is the largest fuel trader in the country, has activity in the field of insurance and vehicle trading and recently is diversifying its activity in the field of construction and hospitality. The two main companies of the group, "Agna sh.a." (product distributor and investor) and "Alfa sh.a." Pepsi, Ivi, 7Up, Lipton Ice Tea; Glina and Spring manufacturer; Heineken, Amstel, Alfa Beers, Tsantali Wines distributor and "Shark Energy Drink"), realized for 2019 a turnover of about ALL 25.3 billion, with an increase of 1% compared to the previous year.
The main companies of the Infosoft Group have realized in total, an annual turnover of about ALL 19.5 billion in the activity in Albania in 2019, almost unchanged compared to the previous year. Its main activity in Albania includes Infosoft System, Infosoft Office, in the field of information technology, as well as distribution and trading companies in the segment FMCG, "Inter Distribution Service", "Interbrands" and "Inter Trade & Distribution" (51% of shares, as at the end of 2016, 49% of ITD shares were sold to the Balfin group).
Finman is the largest construction group in the country. It was established as a holding in 2016 and includes some of the largest enterprises in the field of construction and building materials. ALB - STAR is the most important company of the group and the earliest as well as the largest with Albanian capital, with activity in civil and industrial constructions. In total, the three main companies of the group ("Alb-Star", "Vibtis", APM), circulated 11.7 billion ALL, with a decrease of about 8.7% on an annual basis. The contraction came from the two companies "Vibtis" and APM, while "Alb-Star" expanded by about 12.3%.
Bigalb is the largest group in the country with activity in the supermarket chain. Through its two main companies, "Big Market" and "Tirana Cash and Carry", total revenues reached ALL 20.3 billion, with a significant expansion of 19%, as a result of the good performance of "Big Market".
The EHW Group is one of the largest in the country with activity concentrated in the processing industry, such as meat processing (EHW brand), water production ("Qafështama" brand) and in recent years has expanded into the supermarket chain with shares in " Conad ”. In total, the EHW group, which includes other entities of the group in the processing industry, reported an annual turnover of ALL 5.3 billion, with an increase of 4.2% compared to 2018.
