During the last 24 hours, 320 tests were performed on suspects affected by COVID19, of which 53 positive cases were confirmed, mainly new cases, as well as contacts of previously confirmed positive cases.
The good news is that in the last 24 hours 12 citizens have recovered, bringing to 1126 the number of recovered since the beginning of the epidemic.
The geographical distribution of positive identifiers in the last 24 hours is as follows: 26 affected in Tirana, 6 in Shkodra, 5 in Kruja, 4 in Vlora, 3 cases in Fier and Pogradec, 2 cases in Kukes and Lezha, from 1 case in Durrës and Përmet.
In our country there are currently 722 active people with COVID19, mainly in Tirana, Shkodra, Durres.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection appeals to all confirmed positive citizens with mild or asymptomatic signs to respect the quarantine and remain self-isolated until their full recovery. Breaking the rules by anyone will be considered a risk to the life and health of others.
The only way to stop the spread of infection is to maintain a physical distance of 1.5 meters from each other, maintain personal hygiene and wash your hands constantly, wear masks wherever the environment is closed.
