During the last 24 hours, 276 citizens were tested as suspects affected by Covid19 and 23 confirmed positive cases were confirmed, 12 of which in Tirana. 8 are contacts of previous positive cases and 4 are new cases in the investigation process.
From the in-depth epidemiological investigation at QSUT, where 57 health personnel and patients were tested, and all were negative.
6 cases were confirmed in Mat, contacts of a patient in QSUT and 4 cases in Lushnje, contacts of positive cases confirmed earlier in Tirana and 1 new case in Durrës.
The infectious hospital is currently treating 23 patients, of whom 5 are in intensive care.
In the last 24 hours 28 citizens have been cured, bringing to 851 the number of cured since the beginning of the epidemic.
Since the beginning of the epidemic over 15,500 molecular and serological tests have been performed, while the number of confirmed positive cases nationwide is 1099. Of these, over 77% have been cured.
