COVID-19 / Bulgaria closes nightclubs, bans spectators at sports events

A country with a population of 7 million has registered 6342 cases and 259 deaths, and a few weeks ago the procedures for a gradual opening of the country's economy were launched.

The expectation was not at all at the right levels and as a result the health authorities have launched strict restrictions following the anti-covid war 19.

Bulgaria today recorded a high number of 240 infections in the last 24 hours so far.

All indoor nightclubs will be closed and only those who have the capacity and facilities to operate outside and to the extent of 50% of customers will be allowed.

The government has set a clear regulation for weddings and graduations of schools, enabling their opening but only with a certain number of people who should not exceed 30, maintaining social distance and mandatory wearing of the mask because during the exam release in Veliko Tarnovo some students were affected by the virus while sports activities in the country remained open until June.

The Lokomotiva Plovdiv-CSKA Sofie match that is scheduled to take place on Thursday will be played without fans because some of the players, fans and officials of both teams have tested positive for coronavirus.
