The Fier Bypass, one of the main works of the Albanian road infrastructure, vital for movement, especially during the summer season, has been opened in both lanes.
The Albanian Road Authority today shared views of this important road axis where 22 km can be covered in 15 minutes at a speed of 110 km / h.
The Fier bypass has a special importance as it makes possible the connection of three axes: Lushnjë-Fier, Levan-Vlora and Levan-Tepelena, but at the same time makes the South coast more easily accessible.
The construction of this axis and the commissioning shortens the distance Tirana-Vlora by 35 minutes.
Fier Bypass is one of the key segments of the North-South highway. It is 22 meters wide, approximately 22 km long, with an investment value of 60 million euros and is financed by the EBRD and the EIB.
