More than 5,362,160 cases of infection and 343,211 deaths were recorded today in 196 countries and territories of the world, since the beginning of the epidemic.

Among these cases, at least 2,079,300 today are considered cured.

Since the assessment made the day before at 17:00, 3,441 new deaths and 99,827 cases of infection have been recorded worldwide.

The countries that have recorded the most new deaths in the last 24 hours are Brazil with 965 US with 951 and Mexico with 190.

China (excluding the territories of Hong Kong and Macao) recorded a total of 82,974 cases, including 4,634 deaths and 78,261 cured between Friday and Saturday. Three cases of infection were recorded between Saturday and Sunday.

In number of cases, the US is the most affected country, with 1,633,076 officially registered cases of infection, including 97,430 deaths and 361,239 cures.

After the USA, the most affected countries are, Great Britain with over 36 793 deaths for 259 559 cases, Italy with 32 785 deaths for 229 858 cases Spain with 28 752 deaths for 235 772 cases and France with 28 367 deaths for 182 584 rast.

Europe - 2,021,900 cases (173,915 victims).

USA and Canada - 1,717,158 cases (103,889 victims).

Latin America and the Caribbean - 720,260 cases (39,166 victims).

Asia - 441,447 cases (13,992 victims).

Middle East - 343,372 cases (8,805 victims).

Africa - 109,562 cases (3,314 victims).

Oceania - 8,466 cases (130 victims) ./ ATA
